We're excited to share a major step forwards in our commitment to sustainability. Our self-catering apartments are now equipped with fully operational solar panels, allowing up to generate clean, renewable energy on site.
This means more of the energy used during your stays comes straight from the sun- clean, renewable and little bit kinder to the planet.
15/07/24 Blue/Green Algae Alert
We have been advised that blue/green algae has been spotted on Loch Awe in various areas.
Blue/Green Algae is potential fatal to animals, young children and the elderly/infirm. It only occurs in static waters
You are advised to keep animals and children out of the Loch and standing water
Take them to running/ moving waters to splash in as Blue / Green Algae. The River Avich has lots of lovely accessible areas for paddling and splashing and the forest are full of wee burns all of which give children and dogs a great deal of fun.
The coastline around here is also brilliant with lovely beaches at DunBeg, Tralee, Ganavan etc.
